Introduction


Since about fifteen years I have been working as a hobby with genealogy. For a while with offline programs, i had collected a lot of data. I decided to create a website to make these results public. After having tested various website programs, I finally decided to start using webtrees from 2013.

 This program has a lot of options for customizing the layout to give the site a personal look. In addition, the site can be used in a multilingual way, which also allows receiving responses from abroad and that has already been successful.
